the very young and very old of Northern Illinois. Serving this unique
combination of individuals allows for some wonderful intergenerational
activities and keeps us all young at heart!
Founded more than 125 years
ago by Free Methodists, and instilled with Christian values, Hearthstone Communities continues
to build upon this solid foundation. Our continuing care retirement
community (CCRC) is home to over 200 seniors and features independent and
assisted living, memory care, skilled care and
short-term stay rehabilitation (Medicare Certification). A
variety of rental and refundable entrance fee living
opportunities are available to older adults seeking active
independent living choices. More than 100 children, from six weeks
to age 12, benefit from our Hearthstone Early Learning Center.
At Hearthstone Communities, we encourage our more than 200
team members to
approach their work assignments as much more than a job. We are on a mission
