When that time comes, Traditions can provide a comfortable alternative to home care. Located within The Manor at Hearthstone Communities, Traditions offers a home-like environment devoted to the special needs of persons with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. Intimate, peaceful and inviting, each area is home to no more than 10 residents at a time. Selected for their loving compassion and experience, Traditions employs nurturing caregivers who are trained to understand the unique challenges of memory loss. With approximately one resident specialist for every six people during daytime hours, individuals are free to pursue familiar activities that promote independence, improve self-esteem, and exercise cognitive functioning. The specially designed living area and way-finding features of Traditions help residents move throughout their home with confidence.
