Sheltered Care / Assisted Living

Also known as Assisted Living, Sheltered Care provides assistance and 24 hour security for those who may need help with their activities of daily living (ADL) including medication management, bathing and dressing.

As time goes by, simple tasks can quickly become overwhelming challenges. Our residents enjoy the independence and privacy of their own rooms, with the comfort of a helping hand as needed.

Our nurturing and dedicated staff is comprised of qualified professionals, including registered/licensed practical nurses, therapists, activities and social service personnel who combine up-to-date skills with loving, faith-based service. Care Plans are developed by multi-disciplinary staff members, using clinical recommendations and in collaboration with family members to ensure superior quality, service and consistency.

Nutritious and delicious meals are prepared and served restaurant style by our dining staff. A full activity and social calendar is available and guided by the individual needs and desires of our residents. Pastoral, social, housekeeping, laundry and transportation staff members are on-site daily and ready to serve. Rehabilitative and restorative therapies are also available.

Fellowship opportunities abound in our many lounge areas where residents and guests can watch movies, chat, play board games or catch up on reading. The Manor surrounds a flowering courtyard garden, home to butterflies and birds, providing nature lovers with life's simple pleasures.

Each individual is offered a private room with a half bath. Bed and bath linens are provided. The rooms are spacious and will accommodate up to a full size bed. Families are encouraged to bring decorative accessories to help their loved ones feel at home.

The living areas are well-designed to be sure residents are able to move about safely. With security and safety in mind, emergency call centers are in each bedroom and bathroom and send a quick alert to the 24-hour front reception desk if assistance is needed.
